Student's Appearance
Our school prescribes the kind of uniform:the middy blouse for girls and a stand-up collar jacket for boys.
 

Student's Property
Students are told to buy some required reference books and workbooks on the day when textbooks are sold.
There is a small stationary shop in the school, which sells many school supplies including school and grade badges.

Daily Program
Our school begins at 8:30. A staff meeting is held every day in the moning except Satuaday to confirm the daily schedule.
We have four classes in the morining, and two or three classes in the afternoon on weekdays. We have four classes on Saturdays.
Students have fifty-minute classes with a ten-minute break between classes. After the classes are over they do the cleaning.
Most of them participate in some club activitiy after school.

Higher Education Guidance and Vocational Guidance
There ia teachers in charge of finding their employment in school. Their job is not only finding employmant but giving
proper vocational guidance to teach student. Almost all the students practice interview procedures in advance;
how to bow to the interviews, and how to answer the question. They also prepare for an essay test as well as an objective test.

Cleaning
After school some students are assisted to clean. Teachers in charge everytime check to see if the student's work
is done well. Students on duty also check to see if the cleaning of the assigned place is satisfactory, and they record
it in the class diary. Before or after school events, all the students clean the campus together.Every part of the campus is cleaned.
In this school, students are told to bring two floor cloths to school at the beggining oh the school year. These are used throughout
the cshool year. When you visit school and see the campus, you may tell whether students are well diciplined or not. Besides, cleaning the campus is a good way to develop their will to work.

Ceremony
Newcomers are full of hope at the eanrance ceremony. Their representative makes a pledge to follow the school rules.
We have the opening ceremony at the begining of the new term. The principle gives a speech to to the students.
They sing the school song to a brass band accompaniment.
The closing ceremony is held at the end of each time. The principle makes a speech, reflecting on the term.
There is a graduation ceremony at Mrach 1st. The student's representative reads a farewell speech. The representative of the graduates
gives an address in response.
The Board of Education sends a congratulatory telegram to every school on graduation day. It is customary that graduates present a memorial gift to the school as a token of appreciation for thier scholling.

School Festival
Few families come to high school sports day, probably because students don't want be observed by thier parents and tell them not to come.
Instead they themselves enjoy the sports day.
Our school hold a cultural festival in autumn. Students exhibit the results of thier studies and work of the year.
They open a refreshment booth. They thenselves, cooking, eating,and drinking as if they were playing house. They also hold a bazzar and put on some plays and musical performances.

Homeroom Teacher
Homeroom teacher is very important for students. On the day of the new school year, every students is curiou about thier new homeroom teacher.
 

Types of High Schools
In Japan, high schools are divided into three types; full-time, part-time and correspondence.Our school belongs to a full-time high school.
A full-time high school is an ordinary day school. Those who work in the daytime may go to a part-time school at night or enroll in a correspondence school. The number of part-time and correspondence school is very small in comparion to that of full-time school.
The length of study at high school is set at three years for full time course and four for part-time course or a correspondence course.
High school courses are broadly classified into either general courses or specialist courses such as a commerce course or a agricultural course.The general course is designed primarily for general education. Our school offers an international cultural course within other course.
